With the Nike LeBron 8 lineup coming to a close, the performance-oriented Nike LeBron 9 will usher in new technologies such as the Zoom Air/Max Air. Here is a first look at the new lowtop version for the LeBron 9. This lowtop version will utilize the same synthetic materials such as the Hyperfuse. It will not have the clover-shaped carbon fiber accent like the Mids. Instead of opting to go with the Zoom/Max Air cushioning unit, the lowtop version will feature a lightweight Phylon midsole and a 360 air max unit similar to the LeBron 8. It is unknown if this version will make it to production, but stay tuned for further info. How does this lowtop compare to the midtop version?

The Velvet Brown upper complements the gum-bottom sole and white midsole.

Back when Nike announced the Nike SB Eric Koston 1, they previewed the collaboration between Koston and Kobe Bryant. In addition to the 24 full Koston Kobe hybrids, a premium Nike SB Koston 1 was created that blurred the line between the full hybrid and the general release Koston. The premium version feature an embossed nubuck material on the upper that mimics the polyurethane islands found on the Kobe VI. Of course it features the colorway of the Los Angeles Lakers with purple and del sol accents. Skate/Basketball fans can grab a pair now over at Kix Files.

Once again CNCPTS have teamed up with Clarks Originals on a collaboration featuring the Ashcott. This time around opting for a mix of durable canvas and vegetable tan leather accents. This is the first time the Ashcott has been made using canvas and is tied together nicely with a full grain leather insole. Concepts branding can be found on the tongue and heel tab. The Concepts Ashcott will be limited to 300 pairs each of the Black and Olive with only 200 pairs being produced of the Red. They will launch this upcoming Saturday June 11th. Price will be set at $120 per pair.

check out Scoops's second project, transforming the Nike Dunk High into one that resembles the Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘FC Barcelona’. It copies the Bright Mango upper of the Kobe VI, and features a translucent sole thanks to the Nike Dunk High ‘White Pack’ base. Scoop treated the upper to have the snake-skin appearance, and paired it with a black swoosh and laces to complete the FC Barcelona look. Revamping some of their kicks to fit the trend, Nike has decided to work on their Nike Air Vector, which is now known as the Nike Air Venture. We’ve seen the sneaker in many different colorways this year, but this might be one of the fan favorites. The sneaker is drenched in blue, the upper taking on a darker blue, while the accents come to us in a lighter blue. Finishing off the kicks, Nike decided to place a nice grey Nike swoosh with grey laces giving the sneaker a nice look. Available now through Swiss based Titolo.

Although they aren’t one of the biggest names in skateboarding these days, at one point Airwalk was quite a big name in the skateboard sneaker industry. Their patented “A” logo was very well recognized by skateboarders all over. Somewhere along the line though things slowed down for Airwalk and we sort of saw them disappear slowly. It seems though that you never really disappear completely because they are still releasing shoes here and there and it looks like now they are trying to employ some techniques that have proven to work very well for Nike over the years. This is their newest signature model, this is the new Airwalk Enigma Mike Vallely.

This shoe will actually be in honor of AIrwalk’s 25th anniversary and will feature black suede, tan and red leather on the upper as well as a unique back panel graphic. They will be available exclusively from Airwalk.com.

Releasing to adidas accounts in July is this pair of EQT Zeros. The shoes feature a vibrant design that will definitely catch your attention. The upper boasts an infrared colorway constructed from synthetic and breathable mesh. adidas also incorporates some interesting technical specifications into the design, including a TPU skeleton, heel SOFTCELL and midfoot TORSION. Look for them to release next month to select retailers.
